Mobile Gaming is getting popular day by day. Mobile phones are no longer a piece of instrument used to just make calls and receiving calls. The mobile industry has gone much beyond this and had introduced the concept mobile gaming. Earlier games were played on computers, laptops, handheld video games, playstation portable, Nintendo DS etc. What is a mobile game? Well it is the game which can be termed as a video game which is played on a mobile phone, portable media player, Smart player, Smartphone, PDA . Nokia had given inbuilt mobile games on some selected handsets in the year 1997.

While these inbuilt games were already there on your mobile phones there are some networked games that use some technologies like SMS, MMS (multimedia message) and some use GPS location identification.

After the 3D technology was introduced 3D games like Real Soccer, Assault Team 3D, Crash Arena were some of the popular games introduced by some mobile companies. Some other technologies used to develop mobile were Windows mobile, Adobe Flash, Sun’s Java ME, Google Android, Apple iOS etc. Nowadays people enjoy different games at the ease of their fingertips by playing mobile games. Mobile gaming has not only attracted children but adults are also fascinated by mobile gaming.
