One of the advantages of having these powerful devices is their contribution to the world of mobile gaming.

While stand-alone portable gaming consoles are still available, most people prefer investing in a good smartphone that can double as a gaming console. Powerful processors have made it possible to play highly sophisticated games. The bursting increase of games, availed in the different marketplaces has increased the array of games one can possibly play on their smartphones. That coupled with the high-resolution screens (Retina, sAMOLED, SC-LCD) has made the mobile gaming experience an awesome one to say the least.

While one may think that the use of touchscreens can reduce the quality of game play, it’s not the case. Granted, hardware controls are hard to beat, but game developers have learnt to work with touchscreens to provide the most intuitive controls for superior game play.
