The Future of Mobile Gaming

Mobile gaming has come a long way since the idea was first introduced. From monochrome screens that used to dominate the 90’s, mobile gaming has become ever so real, with the best mobile gaming consoles offering graphics that you simply have to see them to believe. Which begs the question, what do the next few years have to hold? What is the future of mobile gaming?

Though it’s hard to predict a right answer, one can expect to be surprised since there are virtually no limitations when it comes to what can be developed. Right now, even with the domination of touch screens, hardware controls have withstood the test of time and are still the preferred choice, even for portable consoles. That’s not to say that the mobile gaming devices, lack the touch screens, because some of them actually have them. Motion-based gaming is all the rage now, and it’s making for some very awesome game play.

Perhaps the future will offer something even more interactive, with more superior graphics, and more interesting gaming titles. Right now, perhaps all one can do is keep up with every minor development, even if it is with just a simple graphics chip, because its these little steps that will transform mobile gaming as we know it.
